Loose Radial Lead Cutter

This machine is meant for radial leaded components that are supplied in loose or bulk form. These components, have long lead lengths, and have to be cut to an appropriate length, for PCB insertion and soldering. The manual process, of cutting the legs of the component through a cutter, is very slow process. Moreso, in the manual process it is not possible to uniformly maintain the leg length of the component.

This model automates the cutting process. The operator feeds the components through the vibratory linear chute. The components are fed through the linear vibrator in the forward direction and made to pass through the motorised cutter. Thereby getting uniform leg length of the component, at much higher speeds.

It is a versatile machine, with settings to accommodate various shapes and sizes of the components and also has adjustment for setting the desired leg length.
